The Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, formerly called as Fachhocschule am Main was established in 1971, with the student body of more than 14,000 from over 100 countries around the world. It is located in Frankfurt am Main, Hessen, Germany.
The university consist of about 250 professors and more than 1000 employees. The university offers four faculties:
• Architecture and civil engineering
• Informatics and engineering
• Business and law
• Social work and health
Most courses are taught in German, and English in Master courses in High Integrity Systems, IT and Urban Development.
The FRA-UAS has 200 partner universities abroad. The International Office of FRA-UAS aims to support domestic and international students with their wide range of counselling and support services. They offer programs that promote South-North Exchange and Global Learning for young students from various fields of study. They also offer travel grants from Fulbright Commission to study in USA in 2018-2019.
