The Osnabruck University of Applied Sciences is the largest and highest performance university of applied sciences in Lower Saxony. They have been a pioneer in areas of academic training with their 110 degree programs, earned reputation of being innovative and progressive institution of higher education.
The university was formerly Fachhochschule Osnabruck that established in 1971, and existed in its current form since 2003. It has four departments including Institute of Music. They have around 13,000 students with 300 academic staff. The university has two campus sites in Westerberg and Haste with another site to expand in Lingen which is due in 2020. The university also has 5-hectare land located in Haste where stands the buildings, laboratories and greenhouses for the School of Agricultural Sciences and Landscape Architecture.
The university has 200 partner universities around the world and a member of University Alliance UAS7.
