The University of Applied Sciences in Bremen is well known to the industry of Aviation and Space, mainly because of the agreements between HSBremen and major players for having their future engineers and technical staff. In that sense this is a very good place for getting closer to the big companies and elevating your experience and knowledge.
The lectures at this university are have a big commonality for most of them consist of attendance classes, a script and material to study and practice. Nevertheless, there are also some key modules which consist of a project you have to develop throughout the semester, for aviation technology students mainly use the tool Matlab, which allows a deeper and very practical look into the subject-matter. These projects are well followed by the teaching stuff and the learning effect is high.
The city of Bremen is comfortable to students, specially because of its size, which allows you to jump in out quickly at one place or another without long transfers. There are some nice bars and yearly events causing a lot of thrill throughout the city, like the Freimarkt or the Christmasmarket. In summertime, everyone chills out at the riverside having a bbq, and agree that these are the best times.
All in all, this is a university with acceptable standards in a city which has lots of possibilities for getting to know the Aviation Industry, and also for having some great fun during the weekends.
The ” City University of Applied Sciences” is situated at the city center and therefore easily accessible by any means of traffic. It offers a wide variety of interesting majors. The University has 3 sites, in which around 9000 students, from 5 different faculties, attend their lectures. Due to too good organizations and measures, lectures are n´t crowded at all and therefore you can easily concentrate on the topic in unnoisy and unstuffy lecture halls. The professors are really qualified and successful in their branches and they do really motivate and engage the students to finish their studies, by arousing their interests. In terms of internationality, the “Hochschule Bremen (German title)” is remarkably well known for its dedication to providing many opportunities for the students. Student exchanges (f.ex. ERASMUS ) are supported and you always have the possibility to ask qualified staff in order to start your plannings. All in all, i would totally recommend the ” City University of Applied Sciences” to anyone. Honestly :)!
