The Master’s Programs at the University of Göttingen are specially designed for students with a keen interest in research. The curriculum provides a wide range of topics helping the students gain knowledge in depth.

The program, masters in Cardiovascular Science is a recently founded course and I belong to the 6th cohort. Having already studied for almost a year, I find the course is helpful in understanding cardiovascular matters even though I am from a biotechnology background. Moreover, as part of the program, we have to work in three different laboratories and it improves one’s research skills to a great extent. Also, the availability of extraordinary labs and Max Plank Institutes provides a competitive environment and a great experience. The only drawback I felt is that the curriculum seems so hectic but it could be managed.

I am a student of the Cardiovascular Science program and it offers me a great scope of research in the field of cardiovascular science and medicine. Furthermore, my program has also prepared me for my career in industries as well. What I can say about my program is that students can gather practical experience from working in numerous labs according to their career goals.
Overall the academic environment is very good, the faculties and professors are very welcoming as well. We also have an amazing campus with lots of green and a very student-friendly city.

I would highly recommend students to apply to my university if they are opting for a good career may it be in academia or in industry. Who knows they might end up with a noble prize someday. 🙂
