Free University of Berlin - FU (reviews)

It is a very successful school in terms of both education and extracurricular activities. It is one of the best in Berlin and Germany in terms of the quality of its faculty members, and the importance given to diversity and ranking. The only problem is that the course selection process is a bit confusing.

It’s a good university in terms of international teaching grounds and provided a lot of space to develop technical and business skills. It helped in my personal growth. Overall the course program was beneficial.

I enjoyed studying at FU Berlin, unfortunately half of my studies were inline due to corona. Online was really messy, but on campus I enjoyed the studies a lot. The campus is beautiful especially in summer. It’s kinda far from the city center.

The campus is impressive and the staff is highly qualified. I would rate the program highly.
International students, however, had few opportunities to work as student assistants. The program targeted international (non-german speakers) but the lack of German skills represented a major difficulty in the pursuit of further opportunities within the institution.
