Student review [#11301] for Modern Languages
at Université de Strasbourg - UNISTRA

I had the misfortune of choosing this university as my destination for my Erasmus programme.

The main campus itself is well located and close to the city centre, but I am yet to see a dirtier and more neglected campus (with dog waste around included). The facilities and student services associated to the university also leave a lot to be desired. Cockroaches, bedbugs and even mice are not an uncommon occurence in some of the student residences and restaurants managed by the university.

As for the academic environment, I have never seen such disorganization and lack of professionalism several members of the staff display. Deadlines are rarely taken into account and students’ grades get literally lost in that institution. Touring offices and asking secretaries about what happened to grades came as a consequence. What’s more, professors are only available for tutoring in their offices for a couple of hours once or twice a week, and some of them aren’t even there at the specified time.

The list could go on and on, so I’m just going to sum up by saying I wouldn’t recommed studying here.
