As a French speaking student coming from abroad, my integration at ESSEC went well. In fact, it’s difficult to fail your integration since the whole first semester is dedicated to it, with the seminars, the integration week, and all the parties brought to you by the student council. On top of that, a whole residence has been established near the campus to welcome all the first years, and I made a lot of new friends there. The negative impacts of this period is that some student can’t manage to work and party at the same time, so they fail their first semester. And secondly, that when the integration ends, the fact that there is two different tracks (French and English) can create a gap between the students of both tracks. Anyway, it has been a great time and I enjoyed it a lot. Fortunately, I managed to complete my first year and I now completely integrated in the ESSEC student life.
