The university of South Bohemia is undoubtedly the most trusted and renowned college institute in South Bohemia. I attended a pedagogical faculty, an old-fashioned building with even older equipment, but which was constantly undergoing renovations and renovations, so I can not say that the university was not trying. On the other hand, the Faculty of Philosophy, the newest building of the University of South Bohemia, is a modern highlight both from the outside and from the inside and its equipment can compete with the Czech universities of renowned names. The problem, in my opinion, is set in the area of quality of teaching and especially of teachers. After the rhetoric with the Rectorate and the Dean of the University of South Bohemia, many capacities have been abandoned to other universities, and these capacities have been replaced by many times only with teachers with a still warm Master´s degree. Overall, the quality of teaching is much lower compared to, for example, MU. I do not know whether it is a lack of professors, true masters in their field, or the financial possibilities of the institute, but if I compare the final student of the JČU and for example a UK student of the same discipline, the student of JČU will rather seem to him as a well-informed laic. The saddest thing about the whole situation is that it still holds that JČU is the best college in South Bohemia.
