    SJTU is one of the top universities in China. It is an international university with diverse cultural backgrounds. It has two campus locations (Xuhui and Minhang). The Minhang location has the largest campus and so it is imperative to use school bicycles or personal scooters to move from one building to the other. Although it is an international university, it would be best to learn some Mandarin to get help and information when needed. The SJTU environment is safe and most of the time, the students are friendly and helpful.
