The university is right in the heart of Toronto and is thus filled with many things to do and many opportunities. I would recommend it to people who wish to attend a university in an urban city with buildings all over the downtown area instead of a big secluded campus. The classrooms are pretty well renovated as well so it’s definitely a comfortable atmosphere to study in.
View moreToronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson), houses a great learning experience for its students. It has multiple learning centres, coordinators, and tutors. Professors care about their students and offer office hours.
View moreI personally do like my program as I am interested in studying business management; it is a good program with good teachers who help and guide you especially after the university is online due to COVID-19. However, I believe there should be more activities to engage the students, taking online classes gets too mundane. Overall I am satisfied with my program and will await an opportunity to learn more in the upcoming years.
View moreSome courses do not have great professors. Not enough information is given on projects and assignments making things very unclear. The school is in a very good location as it’s downtown. As it is downtown, there may be a lot of traffic but overall a great experience.
View moreThe professors who teach the mandatory courses within this program are very understanding. The know students have other things to deal with so they work towards making the learning experience easy and provide assistance whenever it’s needed. Many professors are very lenient when it comes to deadlines and go above to help students succeed.
