The one thing I particularly like about Mount royal is how it makes everyone feel so welcome. As a student having to meet so many knew people and being constantly surrounded by new experiences can be a lot, but they always make it feel easy. No matter what you need there is always someone to help or make you not feel left out. Just the other day I needed help with counselling and careers and it was so easy to find help and see that there was other just like me who needed help too.
View moreThis school is great for people who value creating a network. I am a first-year business student and the classes are around 40-60 max for class. The teachers make an effort to get to know you and really care for your success. They adapt how they manage the lecture to each class that they have. They have various clubs and student support to help you succeed and adapt to a university environment.
View moreAn education at Mount Royal University is going to set you apart… and not because of the words on your diploma. Small classes and a non research based university allows students to connect more intimately with professors and peers. At MRU you will find professors who were at the top of their respective industries and can often real world advice along with the theory they teach. Professors will almost always know you by name and generally happy to talk and offer extra help. On the non-academic side MRU offers a pretty campus and plenty of support systems and services. With a large gym that includes a pool along with a large weight training area and two gymnasiums it can’t be beat.
View moreI’ve been going to Mount Royal University for 4 years now, and what still impressed me is the class sizes! I had a class last semester with 5 people in it! I could get 1 on 1 time with my prof whenever I wanted. However don’t let the small class size fool you, Mount Royal still holds its own with other universities in Canada bring ranked in the top 10 in all of Canada! I would definitely recommend getting your education here!
View moreMount Royal has been an incredible school for me with its small class sizes and inclusive community. MRU allows you to connect with your professors and classmates to form stronger connections and add to overall learning. I highly recommend MRU to students looking for an immersive and fun university experience.
View moreIn my opinion, as an international student, this university offers a wide panorama of major offerings for international as well as local students, if you are unsure of your career or some academic limitations don’t allow you to get into the program of your choice they offer programs that help you decide or get academically ready for the major of your choice. It is a university that has a lot of clubs that allow you to integrate better into the school environment as well as into the community. Talking about capacity it is a small university, but that allows the student to get to know better the professors and campus facilities and services. There is a variety of classes from which you get to choose and the university has classes called General Education Courses which allow you as a student to take classes that don’t necessarily involve your career of choice, opening more study programs available for them. The faculty is well prepared for helping you solve your questions and teach you the necessary knowledge. If you are an international student looking for a university in Canada this one is pretty exceptional, the professors, alumni, and staff help you along the way to make your international learning experience unforgettable.
