The University of Tuzla has many advantages and disadvantages. Regarding the financial aspect, it is surprising in the positive sense of the low prices of tuition and housing, a good location in the city center and cheap student dorms. Most faculties own their own libraries and reading rooms, while other facilities (sports hall, swimming pool, gym, cafeteria, kitchen …) are not present. Also, student dormitories are not located within the faculty building, but they are separated, which is not a bigger problem, since Tuzla is a small town, and everything is in the immediate vicinity. The knowledge and expertise of the professor is at an enviable level, although the relations between the professor and the student are largely non-existent, and the work at the individual level practically does not exist. Teaching the basics on the theoretical acquisition of knowledge, without adequate practical advancement, and very often the student’s efforts and knowledge remain unnoticed. Also, there is virtually no control over the behavior of the professor, their ability to transfer knowledge, and the percentage of passing through exams, which gives professors too much power and leaves room for manipulation and the creation of a monopoly over the subject itself, often to the student at the expense.
