First, it provides an inclusive and open environment, with most master programs taught in English, it attracted many international students, and create a multi-cultural study atmosphere. Second, the university provides high quality service for students in various aspects including study advising, life and accommodation and etc. Third, the program I studies encourage students to choose the specialising field and courses based on their interests and needs, which is quite flexible.
View moreKU Leuven so far has earned it’s spot as the number 1 university here in Belgium, the lecture rooms and presentation of everything is spectacular. However, I do believe that the idea of examinations is a dated concept and doesn’t necessarily entail the strengths of a particular student. Unfortunately, KUL relies on examinations as such.
View moreHeavy program but it works out every time Idk how. Teachers are not clear sometimes while explaining. They expect us to know already everything. Exercise sessions are not efficient in some subjects. Some labs are far away and we barely have time for a break.
View moreKU Leuven is overall a great university, however, I should add that it is extremely hard and the profs don’t help you. The lectures are mostly profs reading through the ppts. The things that they teach you during the lectures are the tip of the iceberg and the exams are the rest of it. So think wisely before coming here.
