View moreCurtin University has been a great overall experience from start to finish. Multiple programs and external help are tailored for all students that are in need of guidance. Many different workshops for the opportunity to improve or gain certain skills, essentially extra classes to prepare for University and the workforce.
I would highly recommend Curtin University for it is recognized in the Country with the highest employment satisfaction among graduates. Curtin University will ensure all the skills, material and guidance are at your disposable.
View moreI am currently studying at Curtin and the support I received from both staffs and peers was great. The quality of education is good and so are the facilities. My only problem is that the location of the campus is far, and though accessible through public transportation, the travel time is too long. The campus itself is one floor with the other floors occupied by other universities. The catering is decent, but lacks options.
View moreCurtin University is greta for those who are very “career-centric”; the university itself places great emphasis on how to find internships and jobs and are very supportive in that regard. The university is also one that places importance on social networking, whether that be through clubs, discord servers and affordable or free social events. One thing I do dislike however is the disorganisation in some courses or how little spaces there can be for classes (this might be specific to my major/course though). Overall I have enjoyed my time here so far.
View moreI was a member of the Curtin Women’s Collective in 2021 and got promoted to become the Secretary of the collective just this year. As a member of the Curtin Women’s Department, I got the opportunity to promote women’s rights and security on campus. This can be seen through my organisation of the online fundraising event for the “End gender violence against women” campaign along with the Women’s Collective officer at that time.
When I joined the Women’s Collective this year, I got promoted to become a Secretary and it was a great experience as well being able to voice out ideas and ways to raise more awareness of women’s rights, liberty and security on campus. I am going into my last year of my studies at Curtin and it was an amazing experience being a student at Curtin as I was given the opportunity to be a part of the Curtin Student Guild and raise awareness of societal issues that I strongly such as women’s rights.
