Academically: The quality of professors varies in my experience. Most of them are good, some are great and passionate, while a few are not good at all. Regardless of the lecturers, all the courses overall give you a lot of knowledge if you actually study and understand the material.
Student life: Definitely advise students to join at least two societies (one related to their course e.g. formula student and one to enjoy) as that is what makes the student experience great and the university has a large number of societies.
Careers: The university has an amazing careers service team which helps you with CVs, cover letters, interviews etc. so make sure to get in touch with them to help you find internships and jobs. The university also holds some big careers fair so make sure to visit them.
Accommodation: Apply early and research well which halls would suit you best as they can vary from being good to depressing but other than that just hope to have good flatmates.
